Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Miami, FL. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.

Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.

Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Required Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience.

One(+) years phlebotomy experience REQUIRED DUE TO HEAVY PATIENT VOLUME AT THIS SITE.


Additional Information:

Location: Miami, FL

Job Type: 3-month contract

Schedule: 1st shift.

Pay Range: $16 - $18/hr


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
