Industry: Defense, Firearms Company (in a year they grew from 50 to 80 employees)

Candidate would need to be comfortable working in firearms

Position: Content/Videography

Team structure: Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager (about 10+ in creative/marketing group)

Environment/Culture: An eccentric/revolutionary boutique firearms company, the owner is a big part of the brand, does a lot of exotic hunting etc.

Location: Dover, NH (5 days onsite, unless traveling for the role)

Reason for opening: expansion

Must Haves:

  • Videographer/Cinematographer
  • Content Creation – social media, web, email etc.

Preferred:

  • Video Editing
  • Background shooting hunting, sports, combat photography, or related
  • Worldwide travel – person would have to be able to travel at the drop of a hat

Salary: starting at 50-65k +++ flexibility for the right candidate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, script, record, and edit videos for marketing, training, and promotional purposes.
  • Research, plan, and create compelling written content such as articles, blog posts, and press releases to effectively communicate brand messages.
  • Develop visually appealing and shareable content, including images, graphics, and videos, to enhance online presence and engagement.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with key personnel, customers, and industry experts to gather insights and create impactful content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall branding and strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, company news, and competitor activities to create timely and relevant content.
  • Manage content calendars for a cohesive content strategy.
  • Maintain the company's tone and voice in all content.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong storytelling ability with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Proficient and experienced in video recording techniques
  • Familiarity with content creation tools and software.
  • Ability to coordinate and conduct interviews effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute trips for multiple people in dispersed locations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
