Full Time Position
Job Summary: The Logistics and Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of logistics and service operations to ensure efficient delivery of products and services. This role involves managing supply chain processes, coordinating with vendors and clients, handling inventory, and addressing service issues to enhance customer satisfaction. Waste industry, Waste Equipment, Logistics Experience required.
Key Responsibilities: Logistics Management: Plan, implement, and oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure accurate documentation for all logistics activities.
Service Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for customer service issues and queries. Coordinate with internal teams to address and resolve service-related issues efficiently. Develop and implement service standards and procedures to improve customer satisfaction.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor and analyze logistics and service performance metrics. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Prepare and maintain accurate records of logistics and service activities.
Vendor and Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Address and resolve any disputes or issues with vendors or clients.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on logistics and service operations, including performance metrics and financial analysis. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and service transactions.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant Experience can be used in place of college degree.
Experience: 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or customer service, preferably in a coordinator or managerial role.
Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and generate reports. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD). Experience with ERP systems and other relevant software.
Working Conditions: Hybrid schedule 4 days in the office 1 remote
Benefits: Salaried position $70-$80k depending on experience, may be eligible for bonus based upon performance, health insurance, retirement plans with company match, paid time off, Flex work schedule depending on work experience; subject to management approval.
