Pay Rate Range: $17.50/ph - $21.50/ph
Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Technician 1, you will be responsible for operating and managing various manufacturing and packaging lines, adhering to safety and quality standards, and supporting your team to ensure efficient production.
- Set up, operate, and close production orders using various computer applications.
- Follow safety protocols and promptly report any safety incidents.
- Perform a range of manufacturing tasks, including assembly, packaging, and light industrial work.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area (6S practices).
- Comply with quality system requirements (GDP, cGMP) and regulatory standards (FDA, MDSAP, ISO, OSHA).
- Conduct product quality control, including inspection, data collection, and defect escalation.
- Prevent cross-contamination through area line clearance and maintain product integrity.
- Operate liquid-handling automated systems and other tooling apparatuses.
- Perform labeling, kitting, and other packaging functions.
- Record production data accurately following current GDP standards.
- Verify production equipment status, calibration, and maintenance.
- Report production issues, such as nonconformance's or equipment malfunctions, to supervisors.
- Suggest improvements to enhance product quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
- Handle, mix, store, and dispose of chemical solutions, including hazardous materials.
- Meet production metrics specific to the Manufacturing Technician 1 role.
- Perform additional tasks as needed, with flexibility based on business needs.
- Adherence to all personal protective equipment (PPE) and gowning requirements.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating automated equipment and using basic hand tools.
- Effective communication skills with supervisors and team members.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and oral instructions in English with minimal supervision.
- Competency in using computers with Windows OS and relevant applications (e.g., SAP, Camstar).
