Lancaster, United States Pelletron Corporation Full time

About the Company - Pelletron, part of PiovanGroup North America, is the global leading supplier for dust removal systems for plastic processors and plastics manufacturers. Besides the plastics industry, the dedusting technology is also used in the food, mineral and recycling industries. In 2003, the company began to expand into the pneumatic conveying field and developed a new pressure conveying process, trade named pellcon3®. Pelletron has a wide range of pneumatic conveying components such as rotary valves, diverter valves and shut-off valves, specially designed for conveying of pellets and powders. The Pellbow®, a special pipe elbow, another Pelletron invention, is used in the plastics industry to prevent dust and streamers in the conveying process.

  • Perform standard and custom engineering calculations as required in order to ensure that equipment performance targets are met, that the equipment designs are safe and reliable, and that they adhere to customer specifications.
  • Support New Product Development and R&D initiatives through involvement in related projects to ensure that performance and costs targets are met for new products.
  • Review and act upon feedback from the Operations group to improve equipment designs and facilitate smooth and trouble-free assembly processes.
  • Determine causes for any shortfalls in performance of Pelletron products, develop timely and cost effective solutions for such situations, and implement these solutions to correct shortfalls.
  • Standardize and streamline Pelletron’s component families.
