The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA. is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our team. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing electrical panel layout and wiring tasks related to building our Ultra High Purity Systems. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions and drawings.
What You’ll Do:
- Learn and understand standard and non-standard options per the Customer Data Sheets (CDS) requirements.
- Wire panels and follow schematics, wire diagrams, and verbal instructions.
- Layout components on electrical panels per instructions and drawings.
- Assemble point to point wiring – Cable and harness installation.
- Learn engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
- Assist with 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase on-time shipments.
- Work safely and recognize the safety of others.
- Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
- Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards
- Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
What We Seek:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in electrical assembly and/or have basic experience in electrical assembly.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
- Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
- Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry.
- Dependable and flexible. Must be able to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.

- Hourly pay in the $23-25/hr range + 10% differential for hours worked on 2nd shift.
