Associate Attorney

Candidate Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing in Family Law
• Judical Clerkship preferred but not mandatory
• Proficiency in legal research using Westlaw
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
• Easy Soft and My Case with training provided
• The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Family law, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Candidate will make court appearances at motion hearings, plenary hearings, and attend mediation
• Candidate will draft correspondence, legal documents including motions and briefs, and respond to discovery
• Candidate will have strong client relation skills

• This is a full time position and candidate would be working on site in our Red Bank office. After three (3) months of working on site, candidate will work remotely from home one day per week in rotation with the other attorneys in the office.

Compensation: Position pays a base salary of $90,000 to $100,000, which is negotiable based on experience working as Family Law Attorney. In addition, there is additional compensation for generation of clients and annual bonus. Firm pays for 12 CLE credits each calendar year. Attractive PTO/Sick Leave policy.
