Nave Newell is a civil engineering consulting firm located in Chester County, PA that specializes in land development. Founded more than three decades ago, we have a talented team of civil engineers, surveyors, planners, and landscape architects.

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager- Project Engineer with experience in the design of residential and commercial subdivisions and land developments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Site layout and land development
  • Commercial and residential planning
  • Grading and utilities design
  • Erosion and sedimentation control design
  • Environmental permitting including NPDES
  • Sanitary and stormwater piping design
  • Horizontal and vertical roadway alignment
  • Stormwater management design
  • Floodplain modeling and hydraulic Analysis


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant engineering design experience.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineering license required.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D Styles, surfaces a plus but not required.
  • Proficient with site layout, grading and profiling a plus but not required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must have the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Experience with HEC-RAS a plus but not required.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good presentation skills - must be comfortable presenting to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team.
