Job Title: VMware Hypervisor Administrator

Location: Morrisville, NC/Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate Range: $57.84 - $58.69/hr.

Job Description:

This position is primarily responsible for the management of a large, shared service responsible for delivering virtual machines for Client engineering teams. Main hypervisor used is VMWare, but any additional hypervisor knowledge is welcome as well.

Responsibilities:

• Managing supported Operating system templates to ensure they are hardened and patched regularly
• Experience with Ansible a plus
• Help resolve incidents and participate in small technical projects to help users and keep the service running.
• Some scripting or automation of tasks.

Job Requirements

• Preferred 6 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Deep understanding of hypervisors. VMware preferred but others considered as well
• Strong technical skills in Linux or Windows and a working knowledge of the other
• Ability to communicate and support end-users to effectively work through reported issues
• AWS experience a plus.
