Position Summary:

Octapharma USA is searching for a Manager, Industrial Sales to join our team. The Manager, Industrial Sales is responsible for growing sales and working on business development opportunities that primarily help to position Octapharma’s products for companies, utilizing for further manufacturing. This includes working and expanding segments to the excipient/cell culture and diagnostic markets and assisting or finalizing in any business contracts as needed. It is a cross functional role which involves working with external partners and customers as well as both US and Global colleagues, in various functions such as quality, production, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and finance.


Requirements:

  • BS/BA required; MS/PharmD/PhD/MBA preferred
  • 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or chemical industry in either business, sales, research, or quality related functions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to apply scientific/technical expertise in a business environment and work with cross functional groups

Octapharma USA Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $140,000 to $182,000; however, unexpected and necessary adjustments or increases may result from Company annual salary increases, if applicable, and or fluctuations in the job market necessitating adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits, including parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
