Position: Yard Switchers – 5 (potential for more openings to come in)
Location: ON-SITE: Acworth, GA- 1389 Hwy 92 STE 100, Acworth, GA 30102
Shift: 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am; Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed OR Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat
Duration: Perm
Pay: 54k ($26/hr)

Our client is looking for 5 yard switchers to join their Acworth team Responsibilities include unloading/sanitizing returning trucks and ensuring they are functioning properly prior to being re-loaded, ensuring correct trucks/trailers are placed in the correct bays for loading, managing equipment on the yard to ensure it is safe for transport of goods, etc.
Must-haves:
- Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience using their Class A in the last 3 years (Tractor Trailer, 18-wheeler)
- Ability to successfully meet company Compliance requirements with regards to MVR, DOT, CSA, Criminal Background and Drug test
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to safely maneuver vehicles in close quarters.

Job Description
- Unload and sanitize returning vehicles.
- Perform safety check on vehicles upon return and prior to loading for the next route.
- Ensuring correct vehicles are placed in correct bays in order for distribution to load products.
- Occasional transfer of equipment to their distributor for repairs.
