This is a full-time remote or in-clinic role for a Speech Therapy Assistant at Williams Speech Therapy Services, Inc.


Remote position: candidate must reside in California, Texas, or Colorado


In-clinic position: candidate must reside in or close to Los Angeles, CA or San Antonio, TX.


The primary role of the SLPA is to treat individuals with communication, voice, swallowing and cognitive linguistic disorders, provide treatment and therapy, and document progress. The SLPA will collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans and participate in professional development activities to stay up to date with the latest technologies and techniques in speech therapy.


Qualifications


  • Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Certificate from an accredited program
  • Valid certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (CALIFORNIA LICENSE REQUIRED)
  • Experience with telehealth (pediatric and adult patients)
  • Experience in assessing and treating individuals with communication disorders
  • Knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based interventions in speech therapy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in documentation and record keeping
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families
