Position: Senior Mechanical and Plumbing Maintenance Technician


Role Summary: Lead and manage large-scale mechanical and plumbing projects, ensuring equipment efficiency and uptime. Develop client relationships, oversee equipment maintenance, and drive operational excellence.


Requirements:

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical and plumbing construction, with expertise in International Mechanical and Plumbing Code.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation controls, and electrical systems (switchgears, motors, drives).
  • Proven project management skills including planning, scheduling, procurement, and budget oversight.
  • Innovative management techniques to boost performance and project results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.
  • Extensive industrial maintenance experience, especially in manufacturing or chemical environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize projects with mechanical and plumbing supervisors.
  • Define project goals, procedures, and standards in line with company policies.
  • Maintain client and A/E relationships, facilitating project activities and meetings.
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Procure materials and equipment, prepare schedules, and oversee technical project aspects.
  • Identify and manage risks, handle change orders, and ensure effective use of materials.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts and provide technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate on equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and improvements.


Physical Demands: Light physical effort, with occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. and frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs.
