The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the firm’s brand visibility, attract new clients, and support business development initiatives. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing, preferably within the legal or professional services industry.


Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Work with attorneys to develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with the firm’s business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management to define marketing objectives and key performance indicators.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the firm’s brand identity across all marketing channels.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding in all communications and materials.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials.

Digital and Print Marketing:

  • Manage the firm’s online and print presence, including the website and social media platforms, magazines, sponsorships, and advertisements.
  • Analyze marketing performance and provide regular reports with actionable insights.

Content Creation:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging and informative content for various platforms, including blogs, articles, press releases, and case studies.
  • Work with attorneys and subject matter experts to produce high-quality content that showcases the firm’s expertise.

Event Management:

  • Plan and coordinate events such as webinars, seminars, conferences, political campaign events, trade shows, sponsorships, and client appreciation and employee events.
  • Manage event logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities to ensure successful execution and engagement.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Support business development efforts by identifying potential clients and creating targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Manage client meals and gift initiatives.

Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the legal or professional services industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.


The position can be located in our Macon or Atlanta office.
