Field Technician/Installer

Force Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Field Technician/Installer. This full-time, hourly position will join the Installation team at Force Broadband, LLC, the top internet service providers in the region.

Job Overview:

• As the Field Technician/Installer, you will install fiber optic internet - wireless internet to include VOIP at customer locations, both residential and commercial. This includes, but is not limited to, basic router programming, installation of equipment (i.e., ONT, NID, antenna/radio, mounts, Cat 5 cabling, etc.), completion of work orders and other tasks assigned by the Field Services Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•As the Field Technician/Installer, you will install fiber optic internet - wireless internet to include VOIP at customer locations, both residential and commercial.

•Programming, installation of equipment (i.e., ONU, NID, antenna/radio, mounts, Cat 5 cabling, etc.), completion of work orders, and other tasks assigned by the Field Services Manager.

•Represent Force Broadband in a professional manner, emphasizing excellent customer service performing wireless and fiber optic internet installations, repairs, removals, etc

•Possess integrity and a dedication to results.

•Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including field and office employees, managers, and outside vendors and contractors.

•Interact with customers over the phone and in person.

•Must have a valid driver license and be insurable to drive a company vehicle.

•Other duties as assigned

Compensation for this position includes:

• Annual compensation of $41,600 ($20/hr) / paid bi weekly.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is necessary
• Safely operate a company vehicle.
• Initiative to work remotely with limited supervision.
• Physically able to lift 100 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and must be detail oriented
• Good knowledge of all Goggle Workplace (G Suite applications), as well as ability to quickly learn and work within proprietary computer applications
• Flexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm hours for limited on call or outage repairs.
