Role Description

We are currently seeking an Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our team in Elkhart, IN. This full-time, on-site role will be responsible for providing comprehensive support and guidance to patients and their families throughout their cancer journey. The Oncology Nurse Navigator will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of comprehensive and individualized care. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems.

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Knowledge of cancer treatments and management
  • Experience in patient education and counseling
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
