You'll need to be self-motivated, able to juggle multiple priorities, and work well in our multi-disciplinary team. You will need to be very careful and precise with your work, documenting your processes and procedures thoroughly.


You will work within our chemistry team to synthesize and produce materials to meet 3D printing and final part performance requirements. Polymer structure-property relationships will be your jam. We've trialed at least 600 material formulas, and bet you can come up with 100 more

Responsibilities

  • produce reactive systems for 3D printing trials
  • perform quality tests (viscosity, reactivity, GPC, material testing) to meet requirements
  • design effective experiments to develop products to meet requirements
  • write technical reports detailing experiments and results
  • perform careful experiments for reproducible results


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • 0-5 years work experience
  • polymer chemistry coursework and lab experience
  • analytical chemistry coursework and lab experience
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work


Requirements

  • Chromatic will not pay for a relocation to the Minneapolis area.
  • Chromatic will not sponsor an immigration case.
  • Salary range for this position is $65k-$95k+stock options.
