Senior Paid Media Strategist

Our client, a Boston-based Performance Marketing Agency, is looking to hire a Senior Paid Media Strategist to join their internal Strategy Team This person will sit on-site with their client 1-2 days per week in NYC.


The Senior Paid Media Strategist will be aligned to their eCommerce vertical and will be responsible for steering the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that include paid search, paid social and email.


Key responsibilities:

- Provide leadership to the account team, orchestrating integrated solutions across design, digital marketing and analytics

- Develop creative briefs that encapsulate key insights and messaging themes

- Lead and oversee research and analytics initiatives (e.g. stakeholder interviews, process documentation) to deeply understand client strategies, market dynamics and strengths

- Define and track critical performance indicators, offering actionable insights to drive success

- Engage closely with clients, gaining in-depth understanding of products, objectives, and challenges to identify new project opportunities

- Translate complex data and findings into persuasive narratives tailored for C-level executive and key decision makers

- Design and facilitate dynamic digital client workshops, encouraging solutions to business problems

- Serve as the strategic practice leader, enhancing the agencies strategic capabilities

- Conduct strategic onboardings for key clients ensuring seamless transition from sales to marketing


The ideal Senior Paid Media Strategist will have:

- a minimum of 8 years of hands-on digital marketing and strategy experience; agency or in-house

- Exposure to digital marketing related to eCommerce or CPG business is strongly preferred

- Demonstrated ability in leading teams to deliver high-impact marketing solutions

- Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for translating complex data into actionable strategies

- Exceptional communications skills and capable for engaging with C-level executives

- Proficiency in navigating and working within Google Analytics (GA4), Ad Words, paid social and exposure to email/SEO

- Experience conducting and leading high-level workshops and presentations

- Adept at building and maintaining strong client relationships


This is a full-time opportunity for a senior level Paid Strategist who knows all things digital to join a growing and stable agency.


NOTE: while most work can be done remote, you will need to be able to go onsite 1-2x per week in NYC.
