Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Hilliard, Ohio. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients to exam rooms, take and document vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, and update patient records in the EMR system
  • Perform a variety of in-house lab tests, including phlebotomy, blood draws, and specimen collection for diagnostic purposes, following proper protocols for sample handling
  • Administer and interpret electrocardiograms (EKG) to assess cardiac function, reporting abnormal findings to the healthcare provider for further evaluation
  • Conduct phone triage, respond to patient inquiries, assess symptoms, provide guidance, and escalate urgent concerns to the appropriate clinical team
  • Coordinate and process prior authorizations for medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and timely patient care


Qualifications:

  • High School graduate, GED or equivalent
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Basic Life Support (AHA) certification


Additional Information:

  • Location: Hilliard, OH
  • Job Type: contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday – 07:00 am to 05:00 pm
  • Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
