Compensation: $80,000 Depending on Experience

Location: Scottsburg Indiana

Our retained client is where groundbreaking ideas in quality and automation become reality for the engineering team. Their contract unrelated to automotive will provide long term stability, growth and a huge pension program. As THE leading player in the industry, they are seeking a talented quality engineer to join their client’s dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of this facility.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Perform a variety of standard quality engineering functions and related functions to support manufacturing, achieve cost reductions and work simplifications in the Quality area. Conduct studies to DX and RX potential process failure points. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using root cause analysis to achieve goals

WHAT CRITERIA YOU'LL NEED TO LAND THIS JOB:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME or BSMET) or pertinent experience
• Quality engineering experience. ASQ is recommended
• Tenured (more than 3 years per company) experience.
• Able to work hours a week according to need.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
