Human Resources Coordinator

Our client is a publicly traded biotech company developing cell therapies for autoimmune diseases. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for supporting a full range of Human Resources (HR) activities, in the following areas: talent acquisition, onboarding and orientation, and general human resources support. This is position is a contract opportunity with a possibility for C2H and onsite in Emeryville. Reports to the VP, Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Manages every aspect of the interview scheduling process, with attention to detail to ensure interviews are scheduled in a timely manner and with accuracy
- Actively communicates all interview logistics to candidates, recruiters, and interview teams
- Responsible for monitoring and clearing background checks
- Assists with onboarding of new employees, including Form I-9 processing
- Actively participates in other projects across the Talent Acquisition department
- Conduct new hire orientation, 90-day check-ins, and exit surveys while looking for opportunities to enhance the employee experience
- Creation and management of monthly employee engagement newsletters and company-wide communications
- Acting as project lead on a wide variety of tasks that directly impact our workforce
- Supporting HR systems, employee data, and benefits administration
- Maintenance of accurate employee records
- You’ll work to align HR deliverables with business strategy, which includes bringing best practice and external perspectives to our processes
- You’ll partner cross-functionally with teams across the business to help integrate people solutions and drive initiatives to help us build a world-class experience for all employees on their journey at RMB
- Your success will come from collaborating and influencing others, regardless of title or level, to drive the company forward
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources/Recruiting or related coordinator experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skillset
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment with high-performing teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new software and work within multiple systems
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Education
- Bachelors degree preferred
