Senior Client Service Associate

At Focal Point Financial Advisors, we are focused on helping clients create their own economy and achieve confidence in their financial lives. Charting a client’s course begins by developing a personalized, comprehensive financial plan as a guide and implementing solutions by leveraging innovative tools, technology, and world-class products. As a Senior Client Service Associate, you will have an opportunity to work alongside Advisors and team members to positively impact our ability to serve, support and impact the lives of many clients. We are a rapidly growing team, and pursuit of excellence with a focus on continuous learning is vital.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
• Develop and build relationships with assigned clients and family members
• Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and family relationships
• Actively participate with Advisors in client meetings by taking notes, tracking items on the agenda, and answering questions
• Follow-up with the client after the meeting if additional information is needed
• Answer client questions outside of meetings
Case Management
• Ensure client files are prepared prior to a client meeting and the Advisor is prepared to cover items on the agenda
• Ensure all action items following the client meeting are addressed or assigned to be addressed. Follow up with team to completion of items. Maintain accurate and compliant client records
• Work with team members to manage all client service requests
• Facilitate and assist in the creation of investment accounts and insurance policies, including data gathering and signature requests
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or in a related industry (financial, economics, etc)
• 5+ years of previous client service experience with a preference in Financial Services, Insurance, or Investment experience in an equivalent role
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow-thru
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired
• Active Life and Health State Insurance Licensing, FINRA Series 7, Series 63 registrations preferred. If not current standing, must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Completion of requirement to become a Northwestern Mutual Associate Wealth Management Advisor with the first 90 days required
