Business Analyst (HCM / Payroll)

Irvine, CA (Remote but prefer local to CA)

3-6 month contract

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify needs, analyze requirements, and support the implementation of effective HCM and Payroll solutions across diverse projects. This role requires the ability to analyze business needs, gather requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive solutions that enhance our operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and define project scope.
  • Analyze and document requirements for HCM and Payroll processes.
  • Develop process maps and workflows to illustrate current and future state processes.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from stakeholders and refine requirements.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of HCM and Payroll solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst and strong background in Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with process mapping and workflow design.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $55/hour to $65/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
