Relay Technician - Onsite - Phoenix, AZ - $115k Salary
We are seeking a skilled Relay Technician to join our team at a leading public utility company in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering and high voltage work, with hands-on experience in the maintenance, installation, testing, and repair of protective relays. A thorough understanding of relay logic and the ability to troubleshoot complex relay systems is essential. Experience working in substations and familiarity with power system operations will be considered an advantage. The role requires a commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working with utility relays or a graduate of a Relay or Electrical Apprenticeship Program
- Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting utility relays and systems
- Ability to perform programming, calibration, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance on power systems operation technology (protective relaying systems, telemetry devices, etc...)
