Career Management Group is looking for an experienced Technician to support the Supplier Quality & Manufacturing Quality teams and complete essential quality activities.


The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and will have the necessary level of mechanical aptitude to fulfill the role.


This is an approximately 6-month contract position with an ASAP start date.


As a Manufacturing/Quality Technician, you will be responsible for the remediation of Supplier Quality documents, the facilitation of Material Review Board (MRB) tasks and supporting both the Quality & Manufacturing teams.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma.
  • Technical Degree (Associates) - preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiar with Quality Assurance function in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Working knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) to organize, manage, and retrieve archived data from a computer database.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks; demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates basic mechanical aptitude - identifies basic tools and mechanical processes.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.


DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the remediation of supplier quality documents.
  • Responsible for the facilitation of MRB activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers.
  • Preparation of documents for Supplier Quality Engineering department review and follow up.
  • Provides tracking and frequent communication on remediation and supplier quality activities.
  • Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.
  • Provides customer focused interactions.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.
