We specialize in customized providing unique and immersive experiences.


Role Description

There are no historians, lecturers, or narrators working as guides at Alaskan Sights and Bites. We are storytellers, comedians, and entertainers. Our job is to create immersive experiences that brings people together through good tales, great food, and lots of laughter.


This is a seasonal on-site role as a Tour Guide in Anchorage, AK. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for conducting guided tours, communicating with visitors, providing excellent customer service, sharing local history and cultural insights, and promoting sales of our tour packages.


Qualifications

  • Experience leading guided tours and sharing historical or cultural information prefered
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong public speaking skills like storytelling
  • Passion for history, food, and the local sights of Alaska


Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include knowledge of local wildlife, familiarity with both the Anchorage area and its history.
