Are you a seasoned Construction Superintendent with a strong background in ground up multi-family and hospitality projects? We're working with a leading General Contractor with exciting new projects on Long Island, and are seeking an experienced Lead/General Construction Superintendent.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all on-site aspects of ground up multi-family and hospitality construction projects.
  • Lead and manage day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience as a Lead or General Construction Superintendent, with a focus on ground up multi-family and hospitality projects.
  • Proven experience with wood framing is essential.
  • Prior experience managing projects on Long Island is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
