Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join our team in Nashville. The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities from pre-construction through project completion.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure work is performed according to project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and milestones achieved.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal team members.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
  • Manage project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification (preferred).
