Integrus Solutions is seeking a Project Manager/Sales Engineer for a premier mechanical contracting firm that specializes in HVAC and building automation solutions in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise:
- Leverage your proven sales experience in the mechanical contracting and commercial construction industry to articulate the technical advantages of the HVAC and building automation systems.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand project requirements and propose innovative solutions that align with their objectives.
- Apply your 7-10 years of industry experience to effectively engage with stakeholders and promote the products and services.
2. Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand market share within your assigned territory in Eastern Carolina.
- Generate leads, conduct presentations, and prepare comprehensive proposals that showcase our capabilities and meet customer needs.
- Support multiple territories, driving business growth and fostering client relationships.
3. Project Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including project managers and engineers, to ensure seamless project execution from sales handoff to system implementation.
- Provide ongoing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, addressing inquiries, resolving challenges, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Recommend product enhancements or new offerings based on customer feedback and market demands, contributing to our innovation efforts.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering trust and loyalty through exceptional service and support.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to assess customer satisfaction, identify additional needs, and cultivate long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales engineering within the building automation, HVAC, or mechanical contracting industry.
- Strong technical acumen with proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with CAD, Revit, or 3D modeling is a plus.
- Familiarity with estimating software such as Trimble, Esticom, and takeoff software like Bluebeam Revu or Plainswift. Experience with energy analysis software for HVAC is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
