Title: Storekeeping Supervisor/Warehouse Team Manager

Duration: 3+ month rolling contract (conversion to permanent possible)

Location: On-site in Goleta, CA

About:

Our higher education clients is looking to bring on a Storekeeping Supervisor/Warehouse Team Manager to manage communications, scheduling, and coordination pertaining to inventory management for events. This role will be prioritizing scheduling, advising on service needs and estimates, managing financial profitability, and resource allocation. The department this role will support handles a wide range of tasks, including event setup, departmental relocations, furniture delivery and installation, heavy equipment transport, modular systems furniture design, and surplus property disposal on campus. Availability to be reached by phone to support any issues that come up on nights and weekends. This position supports a team of 5 employees and approximately 2-6 student workers.

Required Experience:

-2+ years of experience with inventory management

-Experience with disposal of company inventory, surplus sales, and sustainability practices

-Experience coordinating with/overseeing a team

-MUST be organized, calm, and communicative

-Experience with Google platforms (Drive, Docs, etc.)

Plusses/Nice to Have:

-Forklift certification

-Experience using WebTMA and/or other work order management software (for work process request, work orders, etc.)

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
