We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with extensive expertise in AWS services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, deep knowledge of cloud computing, and a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend solutions on the AWS platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend applications using Java.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the backend supports business needs.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain AWS-based infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS services.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of backend systems and applications.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and debug code.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS services.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and IAM.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).
