Our client, a well-respected law firm in the Cleveland area, is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide exceptional support to their litigation attorneys. The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of recent experience supporting litigation attorneys. This firm prioritizes the well-being and satisfaction of its employees while maintaining a high standard of professional excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and court appearances.
- Prepare and format legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and briefs.
- Gather relevant case materials, and assist in document management.
- Assist in the organization and preparation of trial materials, exhibits, court filings and closing binders and documents.
- Handle client communications professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain and update legal databases and files.
- Perform general office tasks, such as answering phones, handling mail, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Knowledge of E-filing
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., case management systems).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
