Day to Day:

A worldwide Manufacturing company is looking for a 2nd shift CNC Lathe Set up/Operator (2:00pm - 10:30pm Mon-Fri) for permanent placement in Arvada, CO. The Machinist will play a crucial role in the fabrication of metal parts, including complex impellers and inducers, for use in multiple growing industries. Main responsibilities include setting up and operating Okuma LB15 CNC lathes with secondary responsibilities on the Doosan Puma 9 axis mill-turns. Materials range from aluminum to stainless/hardened steel and include exotic metals like titanium, inconel, and hastelloy. Machinists will consistently work with a total tolerance of .0005”, make and modify tooling/gauging, and inspect products using micrometers, dial indicators, surface plate, profilometers, and optical comparators. Candidates will need to be able to work independently and have the ability to learn and apply new information.They will start off on 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri) until up to speed (2-3 months) when they will move to 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm Mon-Fri)
