Commercial Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity with a leading local company expanding into multi-family construction. Known for their integrity, innovation, and customer care, they value teamwork and achieving exceptional results.
As a Commercial Project Manager, you'll oversee multifamily construction projects from design to completion, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, high-quality outcomes while maintaining excellent communication and adhering to safety regulations.
Essential Duties:
- Review job start packages and provide feedback.
- Conduct site reviews and participate in pre-construction meetings with stakeholders.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure daily cleanliness of projects.
- Coordinate with trade partners to maintain schedules and manage changes.
- Ensure projects meet construction schedules and established closing dates.
- Order, manage, and install materials according to policies and procedures.
- Maintain cost control and provide feedback for process improvements.
- Conduct homeowner orientations and resolve any noted items before closing.
- Ensure community aesthetics and compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Assist in recruiting and managing trades, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Participate in trade council meetings and motivate trades for maximum performance.
- Process and report purchase orders and variances.
- Participate in purchasing committees and review final budgets.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with homeowners and assist team members in achieving customer service goals.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and recommend improvements.
- Participate in weekly meetings with sales associates in communities under construction.
- Report job site accidents following company procedures.
- Enforce job site rules, regulations, and policies.
Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree preferred, with a concentration in construction management desirable.
- 3+ years of successful project management experience.
- Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production in commercial construction.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Driving record must meet company vehicle policy requirements.
