We have been in business for over 25 years, caring for cancer patients in our four offices around the State of Arizona. We are looking for therapists for our Scottsdale office, as well as our offices in Bullhead City, and San Luis, AZ. We are committed to serving underserved areas and patients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiation Therapist located in Scottsdale, AZ at Southwest Oncology Centers. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients, monitoring patient reactions, and maintaining detailed treatment records. He/she will also be responsible for doing simulations for treatment planning. The Radiation Therapist will also ensure that safety measures and standards are met, and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• Registered or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy
• Current state licensure as a Radiation Therapist in Arizona
• Excellent knowledge of Radiation Therapy principles, practices, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete records
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals and patients
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Radiation Therapy or a related field is preferred, but not required
• Experience with TomoTherapy a plus
• Bilingual also a plus
