NCD is seeking a Pricing Analyst for our Tri-State Division, in Farmingdale, New York.

This is a full-time, on-site position, based in Farmingdale, New York.



This position is responsible for:

· Executing / inputting / uploading system cost changes in multiple ERP Systems / Warehouses.

· Performing a wide variety of analysis relating to incoming costs and outgoing pricing.

· Determining the pricing structure for a large range of products, categories, and suppliers.

· Reviewing and approving product receipts and manufacturer invoices.

· Ensuring accurate and complete realization of manufacturer discounts, promotions, and specials.

· Implementing cost and price structure for new items.

· Researching opportunities to reduce product costs and inefficiencies.

· Analyzing the relationship between product costs and sales.

· Developing pricing strategies to increase product demand.

· Addressing issues, concerns, or questions raised by team members relating to pricing.



Preferred Experience, Qualifications, & Skills:

1-5 years working in a Cost/Price Analyst capacity.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights, potential impacts, and recommended actions.

Familiarity with general accounting principles – cost, revenue, margin, etc.

Strong eye for auditing, spotting and solving errors, anomalies, or discrepancies.

Proficiency in using standard business tools, i.e. Microsoft Office, collaboration software and applications, meeting software and applications.

Ability to transform structured and non-structured datasets and information into actionable business insights and results.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Superior problem-structuring and problem-solving skills.

Ability to keep detailed and accurate records.

Excellent research skills.

Elite follow up, memorization, and recall.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.

Comfort in a fast paced, high volume, and rapidly changing environment.



BA/BS Business, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, or relevant work experience.

Experience in or knowledge of the Distribution Industry a plus.

Experience in or knowledge of Oracle ERP a plus.

Experience in or knowledge of IBM AS/400 a plus.

Experience in or knowledge of the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry a plus.

Experience in or knowledge of Sales Operations or Sales Analytics a plus.
