Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Metadata Analyst to join one of our clients in Jacksonville FL or Richmond VA. The objective of this role is metadata automation and synchronization throughout all programs and systems, including local repository, data models, databases, and model program interfaces. Candidate will facilitate the migration of repositories for Tech ADS. Facilitate calls to show other end users the capabilities of Collibra. Exporting data, filtering through data, creating your own asset views, editing data in the UI.

Create and maintain Tableau dashboards based on data quality and completeness throughout the database and repository in Collibra. Create and maintain Tableau dashboards for permit to operate (PTO) team to utilize for updates they needed to close out conditional approvals and attach artifacts regarding our domains we maintained. Maintain different asset views throughout our repository. Manage workflows, create and link stories and epics in Jira based on sprints and releases. Make dynamic powerpoint presentations and diagrams for company compliance and documentation purposes.

Work with upstream user systems to validate metadata accuracy and completeness for what is ingested in to the local repository (business and physical metadata).

Gather logical and physical metadata of what is provisioned and sourced in to the database as a downstream AIT (Application).Work with the development team on transformations throughout data on a table level. Create reports in Erwin through Erwin report designer. Utilize Erwin's complete and compare, import, export, and the Erwin scheduler tool for metadata harvesting and automation.
