We are currently seeking 4-6 talented Designer/Drafters to join our dynamic team in Rockford. At QPS, our engineers are at the forefront of innovation, conducting R&D and analysis to develop cutting-edge projects. As we transition into the drafting phase, we need skilled professionals to bring these concepts to life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into detailed drawings using Solidworks.
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of design documentation.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in design and drafting using Solidworks.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and drafting techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
