Founded in 1994, we have become a leading provider of efficient and accurate cutting solutions for various steel processing applications. We offer both flame and plasma cutting, drilling & tapping, beveling, rolling, forming & welding.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Plate Salesperson at PT Welding. As a Plate Salesperson, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, promoting our plate processing services, and generating sales leads. You will collaborate with the production team to ensure customer satisfaction and provide accurate and timely quotes to customers. You will work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of steel sales experience
• Sales and customer relationship management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of steel processing applications, plate cutting methods and steel grades
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Understanding Mill Test Reports and customer specifications
• High level computer skills and document processing - must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel
