Position Overview:
Looking for a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with clients, partners, and fellow attorneys, offering strategic counsel, drafting critical legal documents, and contributing to the successful execution of client transactions. You will also engage in a diverse array of complex commercial litigation, providing meaningful solutions to our clients’ legal challenges. If you have a passion for strategic thinking, negotiation, advocacy, and debate, this position offers a fulfilling opportunity. Additionally, entrepreneurial attorneys will find ample opportunities to expand their practice, backed by our dedicated business development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation Management: Oversee a variety of commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution, collaborating with senior partners to develop robust litigation strategies. Represent clients in conferences, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
- Client Advisory: Offer legal advice and strategic direction on a wide range of corporate matters, including labor and employment, compliance, governance, and contract negotiation. Proactively mitigate client risks by ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Document Drafting: Draft and review essential legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and governance materials.
- Due Diligence and Research: Conduct thorough due diligence to identify legal risks and stay abreast of legal developments to support client needs effectively.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing in NJ, NY, or PA.
- 3 to 5+ years of litigation experience in both federal and state courts.
- Experience in employment and labor litigation strongly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal work.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
