Everyone has common goals and aspires to be their best.Now is the time to define your future and make it yours too.Summary The production engineer in the thermal industry is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing manufacturing processes involving thermal systems such as cooling distribution unit (CDU) insulation and commissioning, components such as heat exchangers, quick disconnect (QD) fittings, and equipment such as nitrogen charging and commissioning kit. The role ensures products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Role & Responsibilities:Production Planning & ExecutionDevelop and optimize manufacturing processes for thermal equipment and systems.Prepare and manage production schedules to meet customer and internal requirements.Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot bottlenecks.Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in thermal manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methods.Lead efforts to reduce cycle time, scrap rates, and energy consumption in thermal production.Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with quality requirement and standardsCollaborate with quality engineers to resolve product or process-related issues and drive corrective actions.Technical SupportProvide technical support to the shop floor, including troubleshooting thermal systems and material issues (e.g., thermal conductivity, insulation performance).Interpret engineering drawings and specifications related to thermal designs.Equipment & ToolingSpecify and maintain production tools, fixtures, and jigs used in manufacturing thermal components.Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of production machinery related to heat treatment, commissioning, or nitrogen charging.Collaboration & CoordinationWork with R&D, design engineering, warehouse supervisor supply chain and logistic supervisor during NPI (New Product Introduction) and process transfers.Assist in cost analysis, material selection, and vendor development for thermal components.Qualifications:Authorized working in USABilingual in English & Mandarin is mustBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role, preferably within a thermal or related industry.Familiarity with thermal design concepts, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), ERP systems, process simulation tools and SAP.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis (RCA).Preferred skills Knowledge of brazing, welding, or thermal insulation techniques.Experience with testing procedures for thermal systems (e.g., pressure tests, thermal cycling).Ability to read and interpret P&ID and thermal schematics.Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.Position Details:Employment type: Full TimeBase Salary: DOEYear-end profit sharingLocation: On- siteAdditional Information:This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
