Project Managers at our client firm serve as the crucial link between our client and its development partners. Taking on comprehensive responsibility, PM's at this firm ensure the efficient progression of each project stage. This role involves direct communication with Developers, owners, financial partners, and various internal departments.


Responsibilities:

  • Estimation: Conceptual and Final
  • Specification & constructability review
  • Value engineering
  • Job commissioning
  • Project Planning
  • Job scheduling: Setting up and overseeing project schedules from commissioning to data delivery
  • Liaison with our Clients internal departments, facilitating direct communication between Facilities, Construction, Architecture, Development, and financial partners when necessary
  • Financial management of the project, including regular re-forecasting
  • Formal performance and financial review of each completed project
  • Management of Large & Complex Projects
  • Receiving intended scope from the developer and agreeing on timing
  • Reviewing scope, suggesting improvements to design where appropriate
  • Coordinating estimating across our clients internal departments
  • Sourcing quotes from external subcontractors and suppliers
  • Reviewing the final consolidated cost
  • Communicating estimates to Development, including advice on timing and capacity
  • Ongoing monitoring of fieldwork progress
  • Liaison with field supervisors

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management or construction science is preferred
  • 7-10 years of construction experience
  • Large Multi-family and/or development experience
  • Field experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
