About the position:


E Ink Corporation (the Company) is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Contracts Manager with strong communications, research, and organization skills to join its growing and collegial Legal Department. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Contracts Manager will be an integral member of the Legal team and engage in all aspects of contract lifecycle management. Specific responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing standard and non-standard agreements and providing general support to the Legal team attorneys and business customers as needed.


What you will do:


With the guidance of the Legal Department attorneys, manage complex legal projects, contract initiation, negotiations, review, and drafting from original concept through final implementation. Interface with affected parties including internal clients, functional departments, senior company executives, vendors, contractors, and external customers as a representative of the Legal Department.


Draft, review, and negotiate contracts of various types such as nondisclosure agreements, services contracts, materials loan agreements, trademark licenses, and other commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and service providers.


Exercise independent judgment, business acumen, and risk management to advise on a wide range of contractual, technical, and policy matters relating to the contracting process.

Proactively identify inefficiencies and problems and develop solutions in the areas of contract administration, policies, and practices to deliver against departmental goals and company objectives.


Assist in the development, training, and implementation of policies and procedures to accommodate legal and regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and the needs of the business.


Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers, and handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.

Assist with special projects as needed.


What you must have:


  • degree in a related field.
  • minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
