Family Counseling Associates realizes the strength of our practice is our exceptional staff. We support our clinicians in building a culture of values of innovation, professionalism, and healthy work/life balance. We are currently seeking a licensed psychologist for our Braintree, Massachusetts, center.
Clinicians can use telehealth 1-2 days a week if they are full-time. Additional days on-site are required.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population.
If you are located in Braintree, MA, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Clinicians can use telehealth 1-2 days a week if they are full-time. Additional days on-site are required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate a clinical treatment program for the diagnosis, treatment, or referral of patients presenting moderate to severe social or mental behavior problems
- Involves patient and/or family in treatment planning as appropriate
- Conducts individual, family or group therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessity guidelines. Option to develop and provide time-limited psycho-educational groups or ongoing therapy groups

Required Qualifications:
- Clear and active Ph.D. or PsyD licensed in Massachusetts
- 2+ years of experience providing direct psychotherapy services
- Proven competent working with a wide range of clinical presentations
- Proven ability to commute to the location in-person
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with children or adolescents
- Experience with couples or family counseling
- Experience with health psychology
- Significant experience evaluating adults and/or children in an outpatient clinical setting
- Knowledge and experience in providing neuropsychological, CBT, and other evidence-based interventions is highly valued
- Comfortable using computers – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS
- Comfortable completing diagnostic assessments, general psychiatric testing, and providing direct therapy in an outpatient clinical setting
- Proven to be self-motivated, ambitious, and able to quickly build rapport with clients
- Proven ability to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures, if desired
- Proven forming excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinating care with internal and external providers
