Position: General Counsel/Attorney
Work Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months (++ Extensions)
Job Description:
• Licensed Attorney with 7-10+ years of experience.
• Understanding of the finance industry, preferably commercial or multifamily real estate.
• Securitization.
• Mortgage Servicing.
• Asset-based lending.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; strong negotiation and document drafting skills.
• Must have transactional experience, preferably with lending / asset-based work specifically.
• Titling or experience with just foreclosures is not sufficient here, they need to have specific experience with loans - not necessarily just real estate. Strong preference for lending experience where the collateral is servicing contract rights.
