Job Description & Skill Requirements:

  • Provide support for installation, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting for various control and automation projects.
  • Design Control System Architecture (CSA).
  • Design control study/User Required Document (URD) for PLC & HMI programming.
  • Machine vision camera integration with PLCs.
  • Design electrical & control panel layout, control schematic drawings, and Bill of Material (BOM).
  • Design, review, and perform safety validation, safety maps, IQ/OQ documents for new equipment installation at site.
  • Perform multi-discipline and vendor coordination for new equipment installation.
  • Review vendor & engineering documents as per project requirements.
  • Design feasibility study, design basis document, and detailed engineering technical documents (Cable schedule, Device List/Tag List) for new equipment/machine.
  • Design & review technical documents like engineering information for fabricator/contractor for activities to be performed in sequence at the site for site clearance and new installation.
  • Deliver complex, large-scale projects on time and within budget in compliance with NEC, NFPA79, OSHA, S88, and PackML Standards.

Qualifications:

  • BE in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control.
