Director, M&A Project Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, and advanced in related field degree preferred
  • Proven track record in managing M&A activities
  • Experience with managing, writing TSA
  • Strong project management experience, and highly developed critical thinking skills
  • Ability to apply organizational knowledge, and utilize cross functional teams to advance project acceleration
  • General awareness of business processes across functions and standard financial metrics
  • Strong team collaboration skills, along with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategic concepts in a clear and persuasive manner

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong financial, legal and general business acumen
  • Exemplary attention to detail in all aspects of work product
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, along with transparent communication, energetic, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to travel periodically, if needed


Director, M&A Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage M&A related projects to drive successful execution against the project plan, including recommendations to stakeholders, and holding cross-functional teams accountable for timely execution of deliverables, and ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of TSA - experience with writing and evaluating TSA
  • Experience with project management and execution of M&A divestiture projects to support pre-close, post- close, and separation activities
  • Evaluate contracts and operational needs, including pricing and structure services, and provide planning to close the gaps with new services, systems, people, processes, or contracts
  • Support activities and cost tracking to enhance value
  • Experience with routine reporting and status updates to the leadership ensuring all stakeholders are aligned, proactively address potential issues and risks, facilitate issue escalation and timely decision-making
  • Active project management of the timeline including meeting schedules, reporting structures, tools/templates, and processes and procedures
