• The Global & US Medical Channel Content Director will strategically deliver and create end-to-end medical channel content the engagement and reach of emerging scientific information. The Director leads medical contents strategy and creation, communications, budget management, digital channel selection, and process improvement within the assigned therapeutic area in partnership with Global and US Medical.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create innovative strategic content to support the Vaccines and Antivirals/Internal Medicine teams

• Deliver strategic Omnichannel content

Organizational Relationships

Provide the primary groups or key positions that this position will have interaction with as a regular part of the position responsibilities. Include any external interactions as appropriate.

• Cross-functional relationships across US & Global medical, Vaccines Field Medical, and Medical Engagement and Impact.

• Work closely with external Vendors

Education and Experience

Indicate the formal education, certification or license(s) required and/or preferred. Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position (where legally permissible).

• Basic qualifications:

o Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (PharmD, PhD, MS, etc.)

o Minimum 7 years' experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector with 3+ years' experience in Medical Affairs/Scientific Publications/Medical Communications

Technical Skills Requirements

Indicate the technical skills required and/or preferred, as applicable.

• Deliver and execute medical channel content strategies across assigned Vaccines and Antivirals area to optimize the engagement and reach of emerging *** scientific data.

• Strong track record of written and oral communication skills to develop and present scientific information to varied audiences and articulate messages succinctly.

• Support the planning, conceptualization, production, and dissemination of Global & US medical content across internally and externally facing medical channels.

• Direct external vendors and manage budgets, timelines, and quality of deliverables.

• Strong organizational skills to track numerous tasks for multiple simultaneous projects in a deadline-oriented environment.

• Experience with scientific peer-reviewed publications

Hard Skills:

1. Experience creating medical content intended for medical professionals.

2. Creative out of the box thinking

3. Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (PharmD, PhD, MS, etc.)
