Emissions Certification Engineer – Automotive Emissions & Environmental Homologation

Max Supplier Pay Rate: $40/hr. on W2 or $45/hr. on C2C

Location: 100% onsite, Dearborn, Michigan


JD:

Engineering position with lead responsibility for coordinating emissions certification activities.


Responsibilities including:

  • Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates.
  • Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability.
  • Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.
  • Perform emission certification testing:
  • Test request generation
  • Data analysis
  • Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.
  • Cross-functional meeting support as required
  • Coordinate catalyst bench aging
  • Coordinating Witness Testing
  • S. Korean Documentation
  • Compile and submit running change and/or application documentation to EPA/CARB/Witnesses.
  • Support any EPA confirmatory testing.


Requirements:

BS in Engineering or related field

Emissions certification experience.
