- 2-4years of release and/or project management experience and a strong understanding of project management principles is preferred

- Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

- Demonstrated effective analytical and leadership skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must

- General PC knowledge including Google Suite and expert level knowledge of Spreadsheet Software.

Day to Day

The Release Engineer oversees the entire lifecycle of Release Management. This involves scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases across the organization for multiple applications spanning various portfolios and system environments. Their responsibilities include implementing and overseeing release processes for code across development, testing, and production environments. Additionally, they collaborate closely with all stakeholders involved in software development projects, providing support to developers and testers as they establish their build and test environments. Furthermore, this role actively collaborates with IT management to enhance the software engineering practices associated with continuous building, deployment, and software updates.
